Meet the artists

Diana Gaston and Connie (Gaston) Mahoney are a mother and daughter who come from a long line of fine artists. Diana has been sketching since she was a girl. She took up photography thirty years ago and later translated her photographs into watercolor paintings. Over the years, she has developed a playful, almost child-like style that is sophisticated at the same time.
Connie has been sketching and painting since childhood. She took classes at both the Rhode Island School of Design and the Fashion Institute of Technology while still in high school. She later studied Fine Art at Smith College. Connie switched from painting in oil to painting in acrylic decades ago, and
